Siracusa

Its thousand-year old history, the Neapolis, Ortigia, the papyrus of the Ciane, its charming and fascinating territories and coasts, NotoVendìcari, Marzamemi and down to Correnti Island,  make it one of the top destination for those who visit Sicily.

Modica

Modica is situated in the dramatic landscape of the Monti Iblei, a range of high ground divided up by deep valleys and surprisingly populous towns. Important in Medieval times, Modica was rebuilt after the great earthquake of 1693 and now boasts fine late-Baroque architecture as well as a medieval old town.

Ragusa

Ragusa is one of the most picturesque towns in Sicily. The view from the upper town over Ragusa Ibla on its own separate hilltop is quite breathtaking. One of the UNESCO-listed Baroque towns of south-eastern Sicily, Ragusa is also one of the principal filming locations for the Sicilian detective drama Il Commissario Montalbano (Inspector Montalbano), a series which has done wonders for publicizing the beauty of this area.

Piazza Armerina

Piazza Armerina, splendid art city woven into the heart of Sicily, boasts a slew of monuments that tell of its glorious past. Meanwhile, the apple of the citizens' eyes is the Villa Romana del Casale; originally the property of a powerful Roman family, it dates back to the 4th Century A.D.
This majestic Imperial villa, standing tall in the Province of Enna (perhaps the most "Roman" of places on the Island), is a magnificent rural abode, fascinating, above all, for its captivating mosaics, considered the most beautiful and best-preserved of their kind.

Nature - Vendicari

The natural reserve “Wildlife Oasis of Vendicari” was established in 1984 by the Sicilian Region. Inside the reserve, an entire ecosystem lives undisturbed.
You will find yourself frequently in front of breath-taking landscapes, dense vegetation that suddenly opens to a clear sea, very long and golden beaches, that in a few hundred meters become rocky cliffs and then deep sea.

Nature - Cava Grande di Cassibile

The reserve is known for having one of Europe’s biggest canyons, which is about 10 km long and 300 meters deep. The whole area is surrounded by green colors, ponds, natural pools, waterfalls, limestone steep walls, birds and tiny lizards.

If you like nature, panoramic views and trekking, this is the right place to go. The whole journey includes a beautiful road trip uphill (by car) until you reach 500 meters over sea level, then a medium-level footpath downhill until you reach the Cassible river with its natural pools/lakes.
